what is goign on with my blood?!?ok so i am kinda freaked out because today i got a letter in the mail from when i donated blood. it says....

the HCV RNA test we performed on your blood (which detects the genetic material of the virus itself) was NEGATIVE. this means taht no HCV Virus was in your detected in your blood. the antibody test (detects proteins made by your immune system in response to an infection) was reactive on the screening test, but negative on a test used to confirm this result.

this combination of results does not indicate HCV infection and does not signify a known risk to your health.

we do not think it is necessary to see your doctor about these findings.

0h danqq.! you serious need to see the doctor to found out. its much healthier than sit back and watch thinks happens...before its too late. if the baby hadn't come out, probably the dead baby wont come out right away it should takes up to 4 months. but see the doctor just in case

did you see a doctor about your condition? you have to clarify things with a doctor, it could be that your worrying just for nothing or that there is really something to worry about. whatever it is, just feel free to see a doctor, it could help a lot.

I don't see anything that would cause confusion. You're negative for hep C, you had a false positive that was confirmed as a negative. You're negative, negative, negative. You don't have hepatitis C.

Helpful answer below. Explains the prevention, causes, symptoms, modes of transmission, and treatment of hepatitis C.
