Can Hepatitis B infect someone in a jacuzzi with a cut?I was wondering and I don't mean to be selfish or mean but my friend has hepatitis B and I have a few cuts on my leg because of my dog.
If we both go in a spa/jacuzzi would it be possible to somehow become infected?

Touching an open cut with blood and other body fluids is the method by which Hepatitis B is transmitted. In your case, it is unlikely to happen

No. You would need contact with bodily secretions, semen, blood. Jacuzzi's in themselves are filled with germs, bacteria, fungus, fecal contamination. You are more likely to get a infection from the jacuzzi with your open cuts, that allow bacteria to penetrate the skin "Cellulitis"

By the way did you know there is a Hepatitis B Vaccine available.

What do you think? Answer below! Explains the prevention, causes, symptoms, modes of transmission, and treatment of hepatitis C.
